Keats House is a family friendly museum, with new activities and interactives just for kids. Younger children will enjoy dressing up and drawing pictures while their older brothers and sisters create their a magnetic poem to share.
The third Sunday of every month is Family Day at Keats House. We offer craft, music and poetry activities for all ages. Activities are completely free for families and you don’t need an admission ticket to join in.
We also run other family-friendly events through the year. Check our What’s on pages for full details.
Keats House is surrounded by a beautiful garden, where families are welcome to picnic or play during their visit.
Eating and drinking
Keats House does not have a cafe, but there are plenty of family-friendly cafes and restaurants in the local area. Food and drink are not allowed inside the house, but the garden makes a lovely setting for a picnic when the weather is fine.
About the event
Satyrs, dryads and fauns are climbing from the pages of Keats’s poetry books and into Keats House.
Turn yourself into one of these mystical creatures on our family day where we’ll be making leaf headdresses and stick-on tails from natural materials.
